Does the app support Split View and multiple windows on my iPad?

Yes, of course. You can quickly work in multitasking with Story Planner on your iPad.

Open two windows of Story Planner with Split View

You can easily open two windows of Story Planner at the same time. Just open Story Planner and swipe your finger from right to left over the item you want to open with a split view. It can be a project, a character record, a plot, a scene. It will show you the Swipe menu:

Tap the second option ('open'):

The item will open to the right of the screen in a split view:

Open multiple windows of Story Planner

You can also work with multiple Story Planner windows at the same time. Go to the desktop on your iPad and press and hold on the Story Planner icon. A menu will be displayed:

Tap 'Show all windows' to see all Story Planner opened windows. You can also create new windows from there, by tapping the + icon at the upper right:

To switch between Story Planner windows, you can return to this option or slide your four fingers horizontally on the screen to move from one view to another. Note that this will make you switch between Story Planner and other apps if you have more apps open.

Use Story Planner and other apps at the same time

You can also work with Story Planner and other apps simultaneously with Split View and Slide Over. Just open Story Planner and swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the Dock. On the Dock, touch and hold the other app that you want to open, then drag it off the Dock to the left or right edge of the screen.

You can choose here between display the other app with Split View or with Slide Over. The options will be shown to you when you drag the app from the Dock. If you choose Split View, the screen split in two. Story Planner will appear in one half and the other app in the other half, as you can see in the example with Story Planner and Scrivener at the same time:

You can adjust the Split View width by keeping your finger on the grey divider in the center of the screen and sliding it to the left or right:

You can also open a third app with Slide Over if you want. Just swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the Dock. Then drag the app on top of the screen divider. The third app will appear in Slide Over:
